The month of July promises that we will get down to business, regardless of whatever perceived fear, obstacles, or enemies are in the way! This is a different kind of energy for Cancer season. We typically discuss themes associated with Cancer, such as how they perceive themselves, their sensitive nature, family, ancestors, and their connection to home. However, did you know that people with Cancer in the big three are often notorious entrepreneurs and significant innovators in the arts and in business? Bucks are male deer, and the month of July is the time when their antlers grow back to prepare for the hunting season. If you've been paying attention to your surroundings and what's happening astrologically, isn't this the perfect energy for this time? The New Moon in Leo takes place on July 24th, urging us to be our authentic selves and be confident when taking up space, especially when there is a heart-centered reason for being in the spotlight. When God gives us grace, it would be foolish to remain in a relationship with the habits that have brought us to our misery. If you know you're meant to work for yourself, work the job until you no longer need it, but stay focused on your goals and stop putting things off. Putting things off or waiting for the right time or amount of money has already shown lackluster results; why learn it again? We may be in Cancer season, and despite what the majority of the population thinks about this cardinal water sign, July is not here to babysit! According to Wikipedia, "discipline is the self-control that is gained by requiring that rules and orders be obeyed, and the ability to keep working at something difficult." In what ways are you disciplined, and in what arenas could you sprinkle some more discipline into? The best way to examine that is to take note of when you are practicing self-control and honoring the routine. Our careers have been asking us what we want and how to let things go, but now we should choose a direction or space where we know we can prosper! This is the month to create a structure for yourself where in the next 6 months, 1 year, or in 5 years, your work ethic, education, apprenticeships, networking, and all that jazz prodcues results for you that are not only noticeable but are respected by those closest to you and your peers. The reality is discipline has nothing to do with our wants or preferences, and everything to do with self-respect! To say we want to do something and then not honor our own words by procrastinating or not taking it seriously is a betrayal that many of us commit so often and without consequence. I was a guilty motherfucker when it came to this, haha! We set the tone for how people treat us when we share with them something we're going to do and have hyped it up, only for them not to see one finger lift to get it done! Let me tell you, the respect and overall outlook of you will change in the eyes of many once you show up and show out, just as you said you would! We need to reclaim the power in our words, actions, and intentions. This is not the time to do things just for fame or recognition. Nobody cares about followers when the bank account is below par! This is about showcasing your God-given talents and abilities that will help heal and motivate yourself, your family, your ancestry, and your community because you dared to allow God to show up in your life fully and without compromise. Now, go write that book, go take those classes, go get that license, go start and push that business, go and spiritually level up, go learn your history, go travel the world, and go kick ass!

It reminds me of the successful plastic surgeons who use social media as another form of marketing and income. You may have found Cancer season to be about the foundational building blocks, but by the end of the month in Leo season, you already know what's up! Yes, you already know the things Spirit has revealed to you regarding how things will play out, and you can take it as truth. What you are being shown is already yours. Because you see it and believe it, you realize that you don't go seeking success; you create it within yourself. This is a card about being sure of oneself. This is the moment to trust what your spiritual court is telling you, your dreams, and the spiritual mentors who have been very helpful along your journey, above all, trusting your own intuition.

Granted, it's like that sometimes, but has that ever truly worked out in your favor? Sometimes the check isn't worth our self-respect. If something is getting in the way of you seeking the career opportunities you want, ask yourself if you genuinely wish to do it and if so, at what cost?

This month will be the most interesting of 2025, as it marks a pivotal time for all of us regarding our future life plans. As we have already seen, things didn't go exactly as we thought they would, but you may be glad that it didn't by the end of the year. Stay focused, and may the force be with you!
